The Hurt Locker

This is my best picture. The plot was great, action scenes were great. I think this movie would have easily won Best Picture last year. This movie is a definite must see.

District 9

This movie was very interesting. It starts out being filmed as a documentary and then changes. I really liked the documentary feel and I think that stuck with that as long as they could and then didn't know how to change once they had to for the plotline to make sense. I thought the plot was really cool and it definitly sets up for a sequal in the future. I would rank this below avatar in 4th right now. I have to see 2 more movies this week. It looks like I won't be seeing The Blind Side, An education, or Precious. I'll have to see them when I can netflix them. I could not justify spending 8 bucks to see The Blind Side when it had been out for several months. More updates this week hopefully.

Inglorious Bastards

I was way behind on seeing this movie. I did not like either of the Kill Bills and have never been a Tarantino fan. This movie surprised me completely. It was really funny and I a lot less gory than I thought it would be. In the Kill Bills heads were flying everywhere but that was not the case in this movie. I think part of the reason I'm ranking this movie #1 is b/c of my love of the old style WWII movies. This was a semi-spoof of those movies and I loved every second of it. I would definitely say see this movie ASAP.
